Use of Velan logo by business partners

The Velan logo is a key element of our brand identity. It is one of our most valuable company assets, and consistent usage by Velan and its business partners enhances marketplace recognition.

Business partners should not represent themselves as Velan employees or imply that Velan is a part of their company. This refers specifically to business partners logos, business cards, company letterheads, websites, email addresses or email signatures. We count on our business partners to strictly comply with the guidelines below.

Correct logo usage
Velan encourages its business partners to use the Velan authorized logos. The business partner should be careful to select the logo that most appropriately describes its relationship with Velan.
Authorized Representative refers to general sales representation.
Authorized Distributor means that your company holds stock of some or all of Velan products.
Authorized Sales Agent means that your company does not hold stock, but is an authorized agent to sell Velan products. (This is similar to Authorized Representation and is a matter of choice for the business partner).
Authorized Nuclear Agent means that your company is an authorized agent to sell Velan products into nuclear applications.

Incorrect logo usage
The Velan logo should NOT be used for standalone purposes without express written consent. If you have questions about using the Velan logo, please contact the Velan Communications Department at +1 514-748-7743 or by email at communications@velan.com.
Do NOT create a business card that implies that a business partner is actually a Velan employee.
Do NOT combine a partner company name or other words with the Velan logo.
Do NOT use the logo with or as part of partner company logo or create a graphic that competes with the logo.
Do NOT distort the proportions of the logo.
Do NOT use unauthorized colors.
Do NOT redesign or recreate the logo artwork.
Do NOT use visual effects with the logo.
Do NOT use the Velan logo with the legacy Velan triangle mark.
Do NOT enclose the logo within a shape.
