Master Electrician

We are currently looking for a Master Electrician who will report the Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsabilities

• Perform troubleshooting and resolution of technical problems on machines
• Carry out the annual thermography and maintenance of BBA equipment
• Modify and update electrical plans for the North American plants
• Potentially act as the designated electrical representative
• Provide machine backup support
• Perform maintenance for the welding department
• Ensure calibration of testing equipment
• Ensure proper functioning of the entire electrical network
• Calculate the plant’s electrical capacity compared to the number of machines on the shop floor
• Participate in machine automation projects
• Perform any other related duties

Your profile

• DEC in Electrical Engineering and valid C licence
• At least 7 years of experience as an industrial electrician, primarily working with machining equipment on CNC and conventional machines
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and machine tool specifications
• Knowledge of automation and control systems
• Solid experience with electrical and electronic systems
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems (an asset)
