Velan traditionally offered two versions of bonnetless globe valves: the XB series with a rotating stem and the Z series with a non-rotating stem. After decades on the market, the XB series has been discontinued in order to refine our product portfolio and streamline production.
An excellent alternative is the Z series forged steel bonnetless y-pattern globe valve. This staple of bonnetless globe valves is designed for tough service, low maintenance, and fast in-line internal repair. Customers appreciate its proven reliability as well as its non-rotating stem and long-lasting stem packing, which ensures low fugitive emissions. This valve is a must when quality that lasts is a clear business need.
