Securaseal® J-Series metal-seated double-ball valve

Single or double-actuated bi-directional double-ball valve for hydrocracking, ebullated bed, catalyst handling, and other refining processes. The J-Series is based on the Securaseal® R-Series and includes all field proven features plus a bracket arrangement and linkage system to drive both balls at the same time with a single actuator. Designed for robustness, compactness, and easy maintenance.

Design features

• Two balls and mating seats with large sealing surfaces and extra shut-off angle and backseat gasket to maintain API 598
• Pressure-energized gold plated Securaring™ gasket with external rib to ensure shell integrity
• Heavy duty torque arm allows for opening against high differential pressure on both sides simultaneously
• Two separate brackets to prevent stresses caused by hot body and room temperature bracket
• Valve stem and actuator drive shaft are two different parts to prevent side load on stem and stem sealing leakage
• Top and bottom bearings ensure guidance of actuator drive shafts
• Can be mounted either horizontally or vertically
