Velan Gulf Manufacturing Company Celebrates First Order Booking at New Plant in Saudi Arabia

On May 29, 2025, Velan Gulf Manufacturing Company celebrated the booking of its first order to be assembled at the newly established production plant in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This milestone represents a significant achievement for the company, solidifying its presence in the region.

Velan Gulf Manufacturing Company is a subsidiary of Velan, a world leading manufacturer of industrial valves, widely recognized as the standard-bearer in quality, innovation, and technology. The company achieved API 6D certification in February 2025 for its ball, gate, and check valves, and became the first in-Kingdom manufacturer to receive 9COM approval for Double Block and Bleed Ball Valves from Saudi Aramco in April 2025.

The celebration of the first order marks the commencement of manufacturing activities which directly supports the In-Kingdom Total Value Add (IKTVA) program and aligns with Saudi Vision 2023, designed to promote industrial growth and sustainable development while reducing dependence on external suppliers, particularly in the oil and gas industry.
