Job Description

Under the responsibility of the Manager, Systems Development and Applications, the position holder is responsible for conducting strategic analyses, creating reports and dashboards, and providing strategic insights to facilitate decision-making for various departments.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data and reporting needs
• Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including dashboards and reports
• Prepare technical reports for the IT department to support technical services activities
• Perform data analyses on demand and develop ad hoc reports for various business process initiatives, both internal and external
• Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
• Provide recommendations based on analyses to improve processes and performance
• Ensure data quality and integrity
• Train end users on the use of BI tools and reports
• Participate in digital transformation and continuous improvement projects
• Manage and coordinate research and/or survey databases, as needed
• Provide consultative and technical support to the management team and other strategic decision-making groups
• Conduct system requirements testing and regression testing.
• Manage, coordinate, and evaluate the efforts of third-party consultants engaged in business process activities under contract

Requirements

• University degree in computer science or business administration required, or equivalent relevant experience
• Certification in BI or data analysis is an asset
• Minimum of 5 years of direct professional experience as a business analyst
• Proven experience in interpreting and visualizing complex data
• Extensive experience with ERP systems
• Proven experience in analyzing business and technical requirements
• Direct knowledge of database management and various data extraction methods, including SQL, importing data into spreadsheets, charts, etc.
• Knowledge in data analysis and modeling
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or other similar tools to create interactive dashboards and reports
• Ability to create clear and informative data visualizations to effectively communicate analysis results
• Ability to write operational procedures in both technical and user-oriented language
• Ability to troubleshoot changes, errors, and subsequent modifications to business processes; must be able to do so considering the work of other analysts
