We’re looking for someone to fill a machinist position for the night shift at our Montreal plant!

Please note that a practical and/or theoretical test may be required of candidates.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform all types of set-up on CNC machines
• Read technical drawings
• Make minor adjustments to CNC machines
• In collaboration with the programmer, modify programs and make any necessary changes

Requirements

• Diploma of professional studies in machining
• Minimum of two years’ experience on a numerically controlled machining center
• Good knowledge of CNC programming language
• Good command of metrology
• Good ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documents
• Good ability and autonomy in work set-ups
• Good ability to select measuring instruments and adjust tools and machining parameters in relation to materials and work to be performed
