Small forged valves gate, globe, and check valves
Velan small forged valves offer a range of small forged gate, globe, check, angle, Y-pattern, bellows seal, and cryogenic valves. They are perfect for low to high-temperature and pressure applications, especially where space or weight savings matter. Designed for reliable performance in demanding environments. Complies to API 602 and ASME B16.34 standards. Also available for nuclear class 1, 2, and 3 and safety related applications.
Encapsulated gasket

Body and bonnet designed with a fully encapsulated gasket to help reduce oxidation and mechanical degradation.
Renewable stem drive

Two-piece stem drive that allows replacement of the stem nut in-line and lets you remove the handwheel without affecting the valve position while allowing better lubrication control.
Safer and tighter stem seal

Hardened, ground stem with a two‑piece self‑aligning gland; each packing ring is individually inserted and compressed for improved tightness. Full‑length, corrosion‑resistant threaded bolts provide high packing stress (optional live‑loading), and a positive backseat lets the stem bevel engage the integral backseat for reliable performance.
Field injection ports (FIP) & Packing

Field injection ports (FIP) are now a standard feature on small-forged bolted bonnet gate and globe valve designs for faster, safer and easier drill and tap injection repairs. Original packing rings are pre-compressed in the packing chamber to ensure equal stress distribution and effectiveness of all rings and a high integrity seal.
