A.K. Velan Visits CERN (European Council for Nuclear Research)

Mr. Velan was recently invited by CERN to attend the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) Inauguration Ceremony, in Geneva, Switzerland.

The LHC is the world’s largest, fastest, and coldest accelerator of nuclear particles. Currently, it has over 2,500 Velan bellows seal valves installed and controlling the flow of over 700,000 litres of liquid helium.

For more information on this project, download the Velan – World Leader for Cryogenic Valve Applications brochure.
