Corrosion resistant cast stainless steel valves
Velan corrosion-resistant cast stainless steel valves meet API 603 gate and ASME B16.34 globe and check standards. Available in bolted and welded extended bonnet styles that excel in cryogenic applications and are ideal for petrochemical, power generation, and wastewater process piping.
Design
ASME B16.34 wall thickness available in broad range of corrosion resistant materials (316/316L, Hastelloy, Alloy 20, etc.)
Seat
Integral seats machined from the body eliminate leak paths. Available with CoCr alloy hard facing on seating surfaces for longer service life.
Stem/Packing Gland
Rising stem with precision ACME threads and burnished finish. Packing gland has two-piece construction for easy alignment.
Body/bonnet gasket options
Spiral wound stainless steel graphite or PTFE, for valves up to 1-1/2". Grooved metal gasket with a graphite layer or PTFE gasket with wire mesh reinforcement, for valves 2" and larger.
