Torqseal® Triple offset valves

The Torqseal® 2.0 triple offset valve is designed for tough applications, providing bi-directional zero leakage with its metal-to-metal seat. It meets API 641/ISO FE standards for emission control and offers low maintenance and long-term reliability with a compact, quarter-turn design.

A massive Velan 78-inch AWWA Class B butterfly valve suspended by chains in an industrial facility, with a blue actuator mounted on the side.

Design

A Velan industrial valve with a blue actuator installed in a dark, confined space near a pipe, with flames or heat visible in the background.

All metal construction results in an inherently fire-safe design that can stand up to the most demanding services.

Performance

Cross-section diagram of a mechanical assembly showing labeled parts: disc (green), retaining ring, seal ring, gasket, seat, and body, with a large bolt passing through the components.

Triple eccentricity and unique elliptical seat geometry allows friction-free, non-rubbing operation of the valve.

Closure

3D rendering of a mechanical assembly with two gray base structures and a central green, curved component connected by a blue circular element, showing cutaway views of internal features and fasteners.

Full bi-directional, zero-leakage closure with metal-to-metal seat.

Stem protection

3D rendering of mechanical parts: a blue cylindrical component above a grey base with bolts, separated by a black O-ring and a tan washer, all aligned vertically as an exploded view.

Multiple blowout stem protection (internal and external) fully conforms to API-609 design and safety requirements.
