Velan released Targeted Purging Technology™ and other design upgrades to our industry leading delayed coker isolation valves.
A newly added lower tangential purge directs steam precisely to areas where coke accumulates in stagnant cavities, creating a loop flow around the ball for improved cleaning efficiency with a non-plugging purge design. This field proven targeted approach combined with Velan’s one piece ball and stem, robust bellows, and scraper type seats, delivers optimized purge performance, improved reliability, and long-term service life, helping refiners minimize fouling and simplify maintenance in severe coking service while maintaining very low steam consumption.
